My Exceeding Goodness

  Make plans to stop if God says so.   In whatever you do-including your relationships, determine in your heart to obey God Ultimately. We need discernment to know when God is no longer involved in a matter even though we felt we had His nudge to start in the first place. I call it hearing God's voice per time/season. Just like how God used different instruments to keep his servant Elijah safe during the famine. Elijah had to listen and obey God's instructions as it came, he didn't linger at the brook expecting the Raven to supply food to him because that season was over and God has moved! Obedience made him move with God and thus he was preserved. If that relationship isn't glorifying God anymore, please yield and move if He leads you to. Lingering when God has left leads to death both physically, spiritually, emotionally etc Where you lead me, I will go should be our anthem and approach towards life and in our walk with God.   Navigating through life can be very challenging and most times may tend to stifle the love of God in your heart towards people. You work in a toxic environment or you find yourself surrounded by people who are less empathetic towards others. The current economic situation isn't helping matters too, some others who have mistaken religion for relationship with God hurt you too by their actions?😥 In all of these, do not loose your sweetness....... You who know the love of the Father and knows what He expects of His children. People have a lot going on in their lives and would appreciate the liittle act of kindness you show. Do not let what others do to you or your environment make you loose your sweetness (that inner joy) and love that you dispense towards others. Be God's extension of hope to mankind, it's part of our ministry!❤️😍 Value people because they matter to God and should matter to you as God's child.

  This is the only aspect of our lives God chose for us by Himself! The All Knowing God has a plan for putting us in our individual families and we need to trust Him and learn to be thankful for our families with their unique peculiarities. Every one member of our family is for a reason and has a role to play. Every situation we are put through is to sharpen us and help us become all that God has called us to be. Value your family, good can still come out of that situation though it may seem ugly at the moment. We have to trust God and watch Him do the miracle in our lives as a family.

  Your heart needs to be guided so be careful what you feed it.  Your eyes, ears etc are gates to your heart so intentionally choose what you permit through your gate. You don't have to watch every scene, you don't need to listen to every conversation. If it's not going to grow you or add value to your life, then turn it off, tune it out! Be in charge of your heart and it's development, don't allow the society do that for you or the devil dominate your thought life. Feed your hearts and mind with things that edify and ultimately glorifies God. All other issues of life are determined by your heart so guard it like the scripture says.   I’ve been hurt countless times and it’s usually very painful if it’s from family members. But you know, we live in a fallen world and as long as we’re here offenses will come! I usually preferred being the one hurt, I could bear the pain as long as every other person was fine. I was wounded, sometimes it felt as if my heart was going to explode. It was so painful and I would cry my eyes out and wet my pillows. I always turn to God to help me forgive those who have hurt me and still be able to pay them good despite how badly they treated me. I’m gradually learning to speak up and let people know how they’ve hurt me, I’m not there yet but I’m making progress. If you’re like me, please learn to communicate in love to those who have hurt you and always trust God to help you forgive them no matter the depth of offense. Everyone builds but the question is on what foundation are you building? How strong is your foundation? Truth is, the foundation is the most important part of any building and will determine if the building will stand and how long it will last. What building materials are you using for your foundation?? because the quality of the material is proportional to the strength of the outside structure. You remember when Jesus was teaching about the wise and foolish man and He narrated the building which will stand the test of time withstanding every condition that may come against it? It is that which is built on the Solid Rock! Jesus Christ is a representation of that Solid Rock and whosoever is firmly built/rooted in Him is guaranteed to stand firm like the house built on the Rock.   Is there a character you may need to change to enter into what God has prepared for you?? Oftentimes it’s not that God hasn’t answered our prayers or that the breakthroughs aren’t coming. It’s just that there are certain (baggages) in character form we need to let go of. Are you hostile? Does your words tear people down? Unforgiving? You can name it…....... For your next level(relationship, career, business, etc), God wants you to drop these characters as it will ruin/ destroy or prevent you from accessing the doors He has opened for you. Let’s consider a young lady intending and trusting God to be married but your attitude towards people is very bad. You may even be found in Church serving God but your character doesn’t reflect that of Christ. This may just be the hindrance to your request  So ask like the psalmist, Lord if there is anything found in me that doesn’t glorify you, point it to me and rid me of it.   I was always worried a lot especially about my parents, siblings and extended family. I wanted to be able to provide all they needed, I was worried when they were sick, when they traveled, went for an exam, didn't have something to eat etc In fact I was so worried about them that I wasn’t living fully(misery was written all over me). Then I heard this teaching concerning worry from my Pastor and that day it really sank deep. I discovered I have been trying to play God all these years over the life of my family which didn’t workout anyway. From that day I had to quit worrying as it wasn’t the best option, instead I decided to hand them and everything that concerned them over to God who has the capacity to fully take care of them including me. I experienced total freedom and peace from that day onwards. Does that mean I still don’t get worried about them sometimes? 🤷‍♀️The answer is No but the goodnews is that I have learnt to remind myself when worry comes that I am not in charge...

  There was this season in my life when news of death was all around me especially of people I knew. This really got me worried and scared and I began to fear death like I started thinking of whose turn it would be next. It was at this point the HolySpirit reminded me that death is not to be feared as long as we entrust our lives to God. The death of a saint is Heaven’s gain and no one who died in God haven tasted the glory and beauty of Heaven will desire to return no matter how much tears we shed.  Death should probe us who are still alive to make amends and surrender our lives to God if we haven’t done that already. I have always tried to plan how my life will go. What should preceded what and how I wouldn't want any stage to affect the other.  Everything I did seem futile and I just kept revolving in a circle. I had several reservations and different hurdles I saw as a limitation as to why a certain aspect of my life shouldn't proceed now until this other aspect has been sorted out ideally (in my head) Little did I know God had a different plan on how to still bring all my dreams to reality but this time His own arrangement of which should come first was entirely different from mine. See it in your minds eyes! Everything you’re trusting God for has been provided for in the realm of the spirit before the physical manifestations. Let your spirit man accommodate what you want manifested physically. There is a connection with your heart and your miracles. If you’ve prayed about it and still wave it away (doubt) the mental picture of it as a result of unworthiness then there is a huge chance your prayers will not produce results. My Hope The faithfulness of God never ends. I have looked all around and searched and couldn't find anyone like Him.
